Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer talked to German newspaper Abendzeitung and was asked about the rumors suggesting that Real Madrid will try to sign Michael Olise this summer.
“Like I’ve said before, if Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has an offer in mind, he can save himself the effort because we don’t want to sell Michael Olise. At Bayern Munich, we have a very good relationship with Real Madrid, and as a consequence of that, they contacted me to say, first of all, they have absolutely no contact with Michael Olise, and secondly, they don’t want all this constant media speculation,” he said.
Real Madrid themselves denied any sort of contacts with Olise’s camp via an official statement published days ago.
Olise would be a perfect fit for Real Madrid, but it seems that it won’t be easy to convince Bayern of selling him unless the player himself somehow forces his way out of the club.
