Crystal Palace have become accustomed to fending off interest in their top talent over recent seasons.
Michael Olise departed for Bayern Munich, Eberechi Eze completed a move to Arsenal, while Marc Guehi recently joined Manchester City.
The Eagles also came close to losing Jean-Philippe Mateta in January before his proposed switch to AC Milan collapsed late on.
Now, it appears another of Palace’s standout performers is attracting major attention—but prising him away from Selhurst Park will require a sizeable offer.
Palace Name Price for Lacroix
According to Football Insider, Crystal Palace will demand at least £50 million to consider selling defender Maxence Lacroix this summer.
Chelsea have reportedly identified the France international as one of their leading defensive targets after an outstanding first Premier League campaign.
Lacroix, who has previously been described as “amazing” by former Palace boss Oliver Glasner, is admired for his pace, composure and physical presence.
Despite the growing interest, Palace are under no pressure to sell and would prefer to keep the 26-year-old. However, the club would be willing to listen if an offer matching their valuation arrives.
Lacroix made 35 Premier League appearances last season and also played a key role in Palace’s successful Conference League campaign, helping the Eagles lift another major trophy.
